Welcome to Driftless Design!

I’m Ashley, the creative force behind Driftless Design, LLC. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from UW-Stout and nearly 14 years of experience in the field, I’ve had the pleasure of transforming spaces and bringing design dreams to life.

My Journey

My career began in the corporate world, where I specialized in commercial design. While I enjoyed the work, I soon realized that the corporate lifestyle stifled my creativity and took precious time away from my family. After the birth of my two amazing daughters, I knew it was time for a change. I founded Driftless, LLC, and for the past 8 years, I’ve been embracing the freedom and fulfillment that comes with owning my own business.

What I Offer

At Driftless Design, I’m proud to be a full-facet interior designer. This means I do more than just draft construction documents (blueprints) or select color schemes. I offer a comprehensive range of services from start to finish, including:

• • Drafting detailed construction documents

• • Assisting with finishes and furnishings down to the last throw pillow

• • Helping clients discover and refine their personal style

• • Bringing design visions to reality, both in residential and commercial spaces

My goal is to clear up the confusion in the field and show that a full-facet designer like me can handle every aspect of your project with expertise and passion.

My Passion

When I’m not designing, I love spending time with my family and exploring the great outdoors. Mountains are my happy place, and we seize every opportunity to immerse ourselves in mountain landscapes, hiking, and enjoying nature. I also have a penchant for finding unique coffee spots, indulging in a good book from my hammock, and traveling across the United States and beyond.

Creative Pursuits

Beyond interior design, I’m an artist at heart. I’ve illustrated a couple of books and have a deep love for painting, drawing, and all things creative. Whether I’m doodling, painting, or trying out new artistic endeavors, I’m constantly seeking ways to express and expand my creativity.
